The Squad House
The Squad House is on the 3rd Floor of Pear Mill

It is a beautifully decorated multi-functional venue custom built to house Stage Squad and Stage Squad Youth,
but it is available to hire for performances, events and parties.
There are two spaces at the venue, a bar space and an event space - both are available to hire for anything and everything you can think of! Please see below for more info.....
The Space:
The Event Space:
Measuring approx 10m L x 7m W x 4m H this space can be utilised for all kinds of events. It's only limits are it's size and your imagination!
The Bar Space:
Measuring approx 7m L x 5m W x 4m H with double doors out onto a beautifully restored Victorian mill corridor and doors into the event space. A fully licensed bar is situated at one end with a good selection of affordable lagers, beers, ciders, soft drinks, shots and spirits. Decorated in 'Diva' purple, black, grey and copper, the bar feels like a glitzy Gatsby style theatre themed speak easy and has a lovingly restored original floor, 9 arm chandelier, bespoke bowler hat bar lights, and 6 original stalls chairs from Drury Lane Theatre on the West End!
Hire Rates:
WEEK DAY DAYTIME RATES:
Mon-Fri between 9am and 5pm are £25/hr
(Min 4hr hire - Discounts for regular or long period bookings apply - please speak to Sean in the first instance, thanks)
WEEK DAY EVENING & WEEKEND RATES:
Mon-Fri 5pm to midnight and 24hrs Saturdays & Sundays
(Evening and weekend adult party rates are subject to a minimum £300 bar spend)
A. £30 per hour with a minimum 4 hour booking
(A £50 deposit is required at time of booking to secure your date - all set up and clear up time MUST be included in your hire period)
B. CHILDRENS PARTIES:
We charge a fixed rate for children's parties which includes:
4 hours hire - use of sound system and disco lights - unlimited juice - Full room layout and set up done in advance - Bar open
All for £175
(Pls note your 4hrs must include any set up and clear up time you require, you must provide your own music playable on a device that can connect via Bluetooth. Bottomless healthy orange and blackcurrant cordial provided available on demand at the bar throughout the entire event. Any extra time is charged at £30/hr - you can book your 4hrs any time between 10am and 4pm)
C. One off rates for requirements outside these parameters are costed per individual event and special discounts may be considered for charity, community events or Fringe performances. Please speak to Sean to discuss.
Optional Extras (Decisions on whether these extras are required is at the managements discretion)
D. Door staff x 1 = £50 / per 4hr booking
E. Extra waiver deposit = £TBC
F. Bar license extension application = £30 per event (non-refundable and must be paid at time of booking and has to be completed a min of 21 days before the event)

We cannot provide in-house catering but we can highly recommend some local catering firms so please talk to us about this.
Alternatively we are more than happy for you to bring your own food, but please note that there are no kitchen facilities, so on-site preparation or storage is not possible and all food waste and rubbish must be removed by you at the end of your hire.
(Please note: Due to layout it is not practical for there to be two separate events running at the same time, so whether you want to use just the bar, just the main space, or both, the rates are the same regardless. Also any set up or clear up times MUST be included in your overall hire time period.)

*All other times are available for hire for shows, rehearsals, classes, parties, meetings, film nights, training etc, etc

How to find us:
The Squad House is located on the 3rd floor of Pear Mill
Stockport Road West - Lower Bredbury - Stockport - SK6 2BP
On entering the main mill site you HAVE to turn left in front of the building
onto the one way system.
Keeping the mill on your right, follow the road round to the rear past
'Awesome Walls', 'Swift Motorhomes' and 'Vernon Gym'.
Enter via the lift next to 'Pricesavers' or buzz us at the Riverside Suite lift entrance near Swift Motorhomes offices.
Please park along the rear of the building or in the large side car parks near
'Run of the Mill' You do not need to buzz the intercom at this lift
If for any reason one lift is inoperable, please use the other, or the stairs
