Stage Squad began on February 1st 2005 as a social group for staff, family and friends of Greater Manchester Police employees.

We performed exclusively to GMP staff at their Sports & Social Club; The Hough End Centre in Chorlton for several years before the Squadron Leader (Sean Kennedy) branched out and took the group into the big bad world.

 

We have performed all across Greater Manchester at various events and charity do's but our regular theatrical haunts were Altrincham Little Theatre for our panto's and Hough End for our cabarets.

We now have our very own venue - 'The Squad House'

and have already staged our last few shows there. 

 

Our membership consists of professional adults aged between 21 and 60.

Most of our members are very talented but quick to laugh at themselves.

There isn't a drama queen in sight!

 

Our season runs annually and includes:

Adult pantos - one per year - 1 x adult cabaret/charity

and either 1 revue or 1 x musical

We also appear in several events per year such as Manchester Day Parade.

 

Our doors are always open to new talent and we will be welcoming the next wave of newcomers in Feb/March 2020 so let us know if you're interested in joining.
